HURRICANE BARBARA FORMS IN THE EASTERN PACIFIC

A developing tropical storm has developed strength in the eastern Pacific Ocean. The system, now known as Tropical Storm Barbara, is currently located about 100 miles east of Mexico's Baja California. Forecasters are predicting that Barbara will grow in power over the next few days. The storm is heading northwestward at approximately 20 mph.
